Does God Really Care About The Little Things?

Does God care about the little things that concern us. I mean I thought it was stupid to pray to Jesus to help me find my car keys. Well a couple of days ago I was going to be late for a doctor's appointmen because, yes you guessed it, I could not find my car keys. I was praying to Jesus for His divine intervention to help me find my keys. I did.

Yes, I have heard this story from others but, when it happens to you your thinking changes a bit. There is an old Hymn I love, "His Eye is On The Sparrow." Yep, his eye is upon all things big and small.

Yes, His eye is on you and oh yes, your car keys because it all matters. It it matters to you it matters to Him.

Start defeating worry

One night I was up late worried about some serious problems.  It seemed like trouble was all around me and that there was no way out.  I turned to my Bible and there I found comfort in the 139th Psalm.  I like the way the New American Standard Version of the Bible translates these verses especially the last.  It states, "The Lord will accomplish what concerns me."  I love the strength of the word, accomplish.

David prayed to God for help because his enemies were all around him.  It seemed like there was no way out but David knew that God would not forsake the work of His hands.  I realized that my problems were like Davids enemies and with faith in God they would be conquered.  Well, my problems went away like a fleeing army over the hill.

We need to call upon God at all times.  However, we need to understand how our problems came to be.  Were they external or did we make them ourselves.  Whatever the case we must always take care not to venture on the wrong paths.
